Paul Czerwin joins as Investor and Advisor

We're excited to welcome Paul Czerwin to Simply Agnostic Controls as an Investor and Advisor.

Paul has spent his career in Building Automation, most recently leading strategic business development at Albireo Energy. Few people have more experience evaluating opportunities, building partnerships and understanding where this industry is headed.

Heading to the AHR Expo

We'll be at AHR Expo this year. We've been attending AHR for over a decade, usually on the corporate side. Showing up as a startup feels strange in the best way. We're looking forward to reconnecting with familiar faces, seeing what new tech is coming down the pipeline, and starting to lay the groundwork for our own booth next year.

On the ground in India

Our team spent time in India working hands-on with our manufacturing partners to push the hardware toward production.

This wasn't sightseeing. BOM locked. DFM decisions made. Certification paths defined. Multiple PCB revisions reviewed and refined. The focus was tightening the supply chain, validating manufacturing readiness, and building the relationships that matter when prototypes turn into real product.

Pre-seed investment via Antler Venture Capital

We closed our pre-seed investment through Antler after being selected from thousands of companies evaluated, placing us in roughly the top 0.3% of applicants.

The backing wasn't about polish or pitch decks. It was a bet on founder conviction, technical depth, and a market gap we've lived firsthand. The capital is fueling what matters now: locking hardware architecture, advancing manufacturing, expanding our patent portfolio, and pushing toward pilots and first deployments.

Simply Agnostic Controls officially launches

Simply Agnostic Controls officially launched in October 2025 after months of research, development, and early patent work.

The company was built around a problem we knew too well: the lack of practical, modern HVAC control options between basic thermostats and full building automation systems. The launch marked the shift from concept into execution, manufacturing planning, and early market engagement.
